Cold storage wallets mean that if you have your cryptocurrency in the cold wallet in this case an ellipal, your phones are more secure than if they’re in a hot online live exchange or online only wallet, you can lose your funds if the exchange goes bankrupt like Voyager did, and like coinbase is probably going to.. so be an adult and protect your coins the best way you can and get yourself a cold wallet and get your money off of hot exchanges.
