This figure represents a significant increase, considering that the network hashrate stood at 255 EH\/s on January 1, 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>These figures mean that the network hashrate has grown by 190 EH\/s since the year began, and at this rate, it could well hit 510 EH\/s by the end of the year, signaling a 100% increase from when the year began. These figures also suggest that <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/bitcoin-retests-27000-miners-biggest-selloff-april\/\">more miners<\/a> have jumped on the Bitcoin blockchain, with it being faster and more secure as a result of this.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At this rate, the hashrate could also well be on the way to fulfilling some of the predictions made by analysts. In March, A research analyst at River Financial, Sam Wouters, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SDWouters\/status\/1640320086878593026?s=20\">noted<\/a> the impressive growth rate and predicted that Bitcoin\u2019s hashrate could reach a \u201cZettahash by the end of 2025.\u201d A Zettahash is equivalent to 1,000 EH\/s.<\/p>\n<p>Going by this current rate, some have <a href=\"https:\/\/news.bitcoin.com\/bitcoin-hashrate-reaches-400-exahash-per-second-researcher-says-network-could-reach-zettahash-era-by-2025\/\">noted<\/a> that Wouters\u2019 prediction could become a reality by December 23, 2025, or the beginning of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this significant growth rate, it is worth mentioning that <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/bitcoin-miner-hash-price-declines-new-all-time-low\/\">Bitcoin\u2019s hash price<\/a> has remained rather tepid during this same period.
